About OctoFood
OctoFood connects customers with approved local restaurants for pickup and selected dine-in experiences. The public site helps people discover restaurants; the protected customer app handles cart, checkout, receipts, and tracking.
Trust model
OctoFood is built around Vancouver and the Greater Vancouver Area pilot, with approved restaurants and CAD-only ordering.
Restaurants control menus, prices, item availability, pickup timing, dine-in availability, and order pauses.
Customers see real restaurant menu prices. Restaurants pay a 6% platform fee with domestic online card processing included.
Operating posture
OctoFood is not trying to replace restaurant operations. The platform gives restaurants a clean ordering channel, payment flow, customer receipts, and public storefronts while keeping fulfillment responsibility with the restaurant.
